Applications Engineer

The Applications Engineer provides inside sales support for our distributors and customers. This position is a liaison between customers, distributors, field sales and factory / engineering personnel.  This position handles all customer inquiries including information on orders, shipments, technical information and pricing.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred (BSME or BSIE preferred.) or prior work experience with rotary screw compressors and compressed air applications, including competitive offerings and field applications accepted.
• Must have experience with bid specifications and preparing competitive price quotes.
• Must have experience with order entry and customer service functions.
• Must possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written), excellent computer skills and be able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Manufacturing Engineer - Rotor Machining

Quincy Compressor has an outstanding opportunity for an experienced manufacturing engineer. This position is responsible for primary daily production support in a CNC Machining Environment. Machining Process Development specifically in the area of turning, milling, and grinding of screw compressor rotors. This includes machine tool specification, tooling specification, NC programming, and all other facets of the process. Will lead or participate in projects to improve material and labor productivity relative to machining and support new technology and product development projects with relative input regarding manufacturing.

Minimum Requirements:

• B.S. degree in engineering; advanced technical degree is an advantage.
• A minimum of five years of CNC programming and machining experience
• Excellent skills in the areas of tooling, machine tool selection, programming and fixturing.
• Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing; Green or Black Belt certification a plus.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills. 
• Project management experience

Manufacturing Engineer – Entry Level

• Must have good team-building and communication skills.
