Standard Filters
Quincy Standard Filters form the core of any reliable air compressor filter system. The line includes three filter types, each engineered to address a distinct class of contamination in the compressed air stream. Coalescing filters remove oil aerosols and liquid water, protecting downstream equipment from carryover produced by oil-injected compressors. Particulate filters capture solid contaminants, including dust, pipe scale and debris, which degrade pneumatic components over time.
Adsorber filters remove hydrocarbon vapors and odors, supporting air quality requirements in sensitive production environments. Multistage filtration, deploying the right combination of filter types in sequence, is the most effective approach to building a clean compressed air filtration system. Our Standard Filters meet or exceed ISO 8573 air quality standards, with elements rated for 8,000 hours or 12 months of continuous service.
Water Separators
Before compressed air reaches fine filtration or end-use equipment, it’s important to address bulk liquid water. Free water in the compressed air line corrodes piping, damages downstream tools and shortens the service life of coalescing filter elements, compounding maintenance costs throughout the system.
Quincy Mechanical Moisture Separators serve as the necessary first-stage treatment, using centrifugal action through an internal spinner to remove large volumes of water before the air moves downstream. As water filters for air compressor systems, our water separators feature corrosion-resistant aluminum housings and maintain a pressure drop under 1 PSIG — a reliable front-line defense that protects your compressed air filtration investment and everything it serves.
Mist Eliminators
For compressed air systems handling high moisture loads or protecting sensitive downstream equipment, the Quincy Mist Eliminator delivers heavy-duty coalescing performance. Using impaction, interception and Brownian movement, it removes oil, particulate and water from compressed air, achieving 100% efficiency for particles 3 microns and larger and 99.98% efficiency down to 0.1 microns. The double-element design maintains a pressure drop of less than 1 PSIG, reducing system power demand without sacrificing performance.
